Argentinian plays in friendly defeat

Chester City yesterday played out a 1-0 friendly defeat at Macclesfield Town, and included Argentinian trialist Andreas Andro, who Mick Wadsworth is currently running the rule over.

The left sided midfielder has been recommended by Fabian Yantorno, who is due to return to Uruguay in a bid to get fit to play for City, following a bad reaction to an injury, during the friendly game against Crewe two weeks ago.

City also included Gregg Blundell & Shaun Kelly who are making their return sto action following injuries, as well as Anthony Barry, who was in the side also, after limping off in Chester's first game of the season against Cambridge after just five minutes.

The Blues now have a chance to get some points on the board, as they now have a run of 4 matches out of the next 5, at home. The first of which is against Histon at the Deva on Saturday.
